Why Homo ambiens?
After Homo habilis, capable of making the first tools, Homo erectus with relatively elongated legs and shorter arms, who acquired the ability to move on two legs and Homo sapiens, who gradually became aware of the world, Homo ambiens represents a new "evolutionary stage" through which humans should return to harmoniously integrating into the natural environment with a renewed awareness.
The Homo ambiens collective
Homo ambiens ambiens was founded in 1993 to document, through photography, natural environments and the complex mechanisms that regulate life.
